Sodium

Sodium can be tricky.  A lot of people don’t realize they are consuming a lot of it because they equate it with salty foods.

Sodium is commonly used to preserve foods so you can get heavy doses of it in canned goods, frozen dinners and other pre-packaged foods.

Too much sodium can cause a multitude of heart problems and create other health risks.
